Tonight was the second day with Judith. I was late so I didn't make as much progress as I'd wanted. I'll have to focus on the head next week since we'll probably switch to a new pose on day 4.
i think it's coming along nicely still even if you didn't get as far as you wanted... you're right that adding the boobies does help to make her look more feminine (makes sense! :)... i agree w/ robinde from before that it's amazing how much you accomplish in such a short amount of time...
very nice! her boobs make a big difference for sure, and i like the way you are starting to give detail to her head with the nicely shaped jawline and the beginning of an ear. also the detail in the clavicle, shoulder, and neck is really nice. i look forward to seeing the final sculpture next week (assuming you finish it then). for me, the head would be one of the most difficult parts of the sculpture, trying to get it to look okay (ie. human).
judith is coming along nicely! her body is more curvy, smoother. it doesn't look like you made a lot of progress, but i can see that you worked really hard on the details. i agree with robinde. i like how you've sculpted all the curvatures of the body: legs, back, butt, shoulders, arm. you're very talented. how long have you been doing this?
thanks everyone for the comments. I'm looking forward to working on the face next week. It's often the most challenging part. I started sculpting when I started at ILM, so that would be... gosh, almost 6 years!
welcome to icky tandoori buns! this is a place for us to document our creative ideas and projects.
for every post, please add a label with your login name (and any other labels you want), so that they will be accessible via the 'authors' links below. we will add a link for each author once they have posted.
