awwwww. i love cats. do your cats ever sleep in the sink? this shot is really cool in that it looks like it was taken in black and white (or a bluish-gray duotone), except for the very front border.
ditto, your kitties are so cute! i agree w/ both sukogirl and robinde and like the way it was shot too. the quality of light on them is nice, diffuse and soft with some bounce.
one of the things i noticed and really liked about your camera was how it captures light, jerm said that is what leica is known for---the quality of the optics.

thanks everyone! robinde: Our cats have yet to sleep in the sink. It's funny you should mention the monochromatic thing... I use a gray card sometimes (when I remember) so that I can adjust the white balance when I process the photos, but I've found that clicking around the light parts of jake or elwood's fur does the trick most of the time. Handy! cignoh: I'm often impressed with the light quality from this camera. And while it takes me time to get the focus, when it's right it's razor sharp. go leica!
