I made this little dude for a friend's birthday last month. I found the pattern online... it's a great beginner crochet pattern.

oh he is cute too!! all these amigurumi is making want to make on too.
what kind of yarn did you use? do you find that cotton is better than wool or vice versa?

sukogirl, for mine, i used a cotton yarn, that's all i had lying around. i would think you would want something that is stiffer and firmer and holds more tightly together, but maybe it depends on what you're making/what you're going for?
Thanks guys! sukogirl, I used some leftover cascade 220 wool from the blue scarf. I have mostly wool in my stash so I didn't choose it specifically. I'll dig up the pdf and send it or post it. I can't seem to find it online anywhere anymore.
