isak day 1
Sadly, Judith's second pose never made it past the first day. Work and houseguests conspired to occupy the last two sculpting nights. We started a new model tonight, so I scrapped the 1/4 scale Judith to reuse the armature for Isak. I had a hard time with his right shoulder but the pose is interesting.

sorry you didn't get to finish judith, but i like your photos, catnip toy, and new pose... all great. i rough quality of the clay right now as you are starting/sketching it out, and you're right, the pose is very interesting...
The pose is really unique. Although its seated, there is a dynamic energy to it, like a speedskater caught mid-stroke!!
I agree with the other comments about the pose. The outstretched leg and the arm in midair make it seem like you've captured someone in action, like amy said. it's very different from judith's more relaxed-looking poses. the armature sticking out of the hands is also quite unique looking, almost like he is holding something.
